Janet Faye (Blankenship) Groman, 76, of Toronto, OH, passed away on Friday July 10, 2026, in WVU Weirton Medical Center in Weirton, WV.

Janet was born on Oct. 18, 1949, in Steubenville, OH, daughter of the late Oris L. and Mary Alice (Barcus) Blankenship. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Michael Groman, on Feb. 10, 2026, sister, Ruth Bell, and her brother, Dale Blankenship.

She was a homemaker, who loved her family, her home and her pajamas.

Surviving are her children, son, Donald (Brenda) Lucas of Toronto; three daughters, Christie Kaniecki of Toronto, Mary Owens of Columbus, OH and Jennette (Brian) Hughes of Toronto; brother, William ‘Bill’ (Cathy) Blankenship of Toronto and six grandchildren.

Private services were held at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home, in Toronto, with Rev. Kevin Rinkes, with interment in the Island Creek Cemetery in Toronto.
