Janet Josephine "Jo" Williams, 74, of Lexington, NC, formerly of Steubenville, OH, passed away at the Hinkle Hospice House on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014.Janet was born Nov. 30, 1939 in Steubenville, OH, daughter of the late Raymond J. and Gertrude Johnson.In addition to her parents, Jo was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Rae Antill and her brother, Raymond "Sonny" Johnson. Janet retired from Lowe's Foods after several years of employment. She was Catholic.Surviving are her children, Barbara (Greg) Barto of Toronto, OH, her son, Gregg Williams of Winston Salem and daughter Joan Blackwell of Lexington and. Also surviving are five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.Memorial visitation for Jo will be held on Wednesday, February 12 from 4-7 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home 701 Findley St. in Toronto, OH. Private burial will take place on Thursday in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Steubenville, OH.
