JasperF. "Jack" Hawkins,77of Steubenville, Ohio passed away Saturday evening at his home of natural causes.He was born May 6, 1928 on Fernwood Rd. in Wintersville, son of the late Frank and Ethel Shepherd Hawkins.He is a retired electrical motor repairman, a member of the P.N.A. Club in Steubenville, and a U.S. Navy Veteran serving inW.W. II.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers; Franklin, Robert, and Clayton Hawkins; and his sister Ruth Monigold.Surviving are his wife, Betty (Haught) Scott Hawkins of home, his daughter; Joyce (Bill) Wolfe of E. Liverpool, his brother; Maurice (Loretta) Hawkins of Mingo Jct., and three step-children; Sandy (Bob) McClurg of Wellsville, Robin Moodie of Steubenville, and William (Susan) Scott of Mingo Jct.9 Grandchildren.There will be no visitation.
