Jaymes A. Carter, 64, of Toronto, Ohio passed away Sunday in Trinity Medical Center West.Jaymes was born July 4, 1945 in E. Liverpool, Ohio; son of the late Jay and Ruth Shinn Carter. Jaymes retired from Arcelor-Mittal Weirton Steel Corp., where he worked as a manager in the Quality Assurance Dept. He received a B.S. Degree in Engineering from Y.S.U., graduating in 1969; he also played football for three years while attending Y.S.U. He was an avid Outdoorsman and loved to hunt deer. Jaymes is survived by his wife Darlene (Higgins) Carter, whom he married on June 21, 1969, his son Charles Carter of Columbus, Ohio, grandson Calvin Jaymes Carter also of Columbus. Two sisters Carolyn (Charles) Petree of Columbus, Jayne (Ed) Glenn of Calf., and his brother Jay (Ruth) Carter of E.Liverpool. Friends and family may call on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm., at the J. E. Foster Funeral Homes, Inc., 701 Findley St. Toronto, Ohio; where Services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am. Father Thomas Vinnetti will officiate Jaymes Service.
