Jean Maxine (Davis) Straus, 85 of Cleveland Hts., Ohio formerly of Smithfield, Ohio passed away Sunday evening May 14, 2006 in the Bruening Care Center atJudson Park Cleveland Hts., Ohio.She was born Aug. 24, 1920 in Harrison Co., Ohio, daughter of the late Raymond and Emma Johnston Davis. She was a homemaker, a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Cleveland Hts. and was a 1937 graduate of Hopedale High School.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband J. Robert Straus in 1972, two brothers, Donald McKee and Kenneth Davis and her son-in-law Edward Grace. Surviving are her daughter Cynthia 'Cindy'Grace of Cleveland Hts., her son John Robert "Jack" Straus of Bath, Ohio, four grandsons, Colin, Evan, Graham and Dylan Grace of Cleveland Hts., and her sister Helen (George) Dressel of Cadiz, Ohio.Friends and family may call on Thursday evening from 6:00 pm til 8:30 pm at the J. E. FOSTER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 107Hill St. Smithfield, Ohio. Friends may also call on Friday morning at St. Adalbert Catholic Church in Dillonvale, Ohio from 9:15 am until the Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 10:00 am Msgr.
