Jerry A. Bolles, 77, of Toronto, OH, went to be with his Lord Jesus Christ on Saturday, October 4, 2014 in the Valley Hospice Care Center in Steubenville, OH.

He was born February 10, 1937 in East Liverpool, OH, son of the late Austin and Delma Diddle Bolles. Jerry was a 1955 graduate of Toronto High School and a Veteran of the US Army.

Jerry was a Toronto First Ward Councilman for over five years until 1995.

He was retired from Weirton-Steel where he was a railroad engineer and he worked most recently as a delivery driver for the Rite-Aid Pharmacy in Toronto.

He leaves behind his wife of 59 years, Janice M. (Guskea) Bolles of home, his son, Kurt D. Bolles whom currently resides at home and his daughter, Michele L. Kahl of Powhatan Pt., OH; his four grandchildren, Jerry, Brian, Brett and Josh Kahl and his two dogs, Zach and Krissy.

Jerry had been blessed with the Faith to turn his life over to the care of God. For over 31 years, he unselfishly shared his experience, strength and hope to help others like him find a better way of life. Jerrys caring attitude was a model for everyone he met through his fellowship. He was a compassionate man who led by his example of living life in a manner pleasing to God.

Visitation for Jerry will be held on Wednesday, October 8 from 2-6 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. His funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11 am at the funeral home with Pastor Susan Clegg officiating. A private burial will follow in Toronto Union Cemetery. There will be a public luncheon held at Empire United Methodist Church following the burial for all to attend.
