After a hard-fought battle with cancer, Jessie McCauley, 38, of Toronto, OH, passed away Friday, July 2, 2021, surrounded by her family and friends.

Jessie was born July 28, 1982 in Steubenville, OH, daughter of the late Joan (Cunningham) and Harvey McCauley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Daniel McCauley.

Jessie leaves behind her partner, David L. Davis; her four children, David M. Keras, Skylee D. Ward, Jace C. Ward, and Liliana J. Ward all of Toronto; five sisters, Lori (Jim) Franke of Calcutta, OH, Kathryn Chesney of Imperial, PA, Angela Argentine, Monica Treadway, Jennifer Cunningham, and her brother, Joseph Merick all of Toronto, and many nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.

Jessie was fearless and feisty always making you laugh even during her last days. She loved being the center of attention and never afraid to be herself. Jessie was still herself until the very end, full of life and always ready for her next adventure. She spent her final days outside in the sunshine, eating, swimming, and spending time with her family and friends. She left her mark on everyone she met, and she was truly one of a kind.

Jessies family will hold a memorial service at a later date. Her arrangements are in the care of the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, OH.
