Obituary
Jo Ann Elizabeth Davis, 79, of Toronto, OH, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2017 in the Weirton Medical Center in Weirton, WV.
Jo Ann was born April 14, 1938 in Parkersburg, WV, daughter of the late Judson and Rebecca (Hubor) McCartney.
She was a former machinist and dry wall hanger in the construction field. Along with being multi-talented musically, she was an avid artist and loved caring for her animals through the years.
In addition to her parents, Jo Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Ted who passed in 1987; her three brothers, Judson, Donald and Ray McCartney and an infant sister, Sylvia.
Jo Ann leaves behind her son, Ted Davis of Richmond, OH; her two daughters, Sandy (Jim) Truax and Terrie (Rick) Coil both of Toronto; her sister, Betty (Larry) Cain of New Cumberland, WV; her two brothers, Dale (Donna) McCartney of New Cumberland and Bobby (Shirley) McCartney of Follansbee, WV; her four grandchildren, Rick (Shannon) Coil, Dustin (Cortney) Coil, Ted (Michelle) Davis and Jamie (Mercedes) Truax and her great-grandson, Camden Coil.
Jo Anns wishes were to be cremated with no services observed at this time. Her arrangements are in the care of the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. www.jefosterfh.com
