Jo Ann "Josie" Montgomery, 74, of Toronto, OH, passed away Saturday May 5, 2012 in the Genesis Good Samartian Medical Center in Zanesville, OH. Jo Ann was born February 9, 1938 in Steubenville, OH, daughter of the late Joseph Gogul and Mary "Honey" Albright Gogul Lewis. Jo Ann had a singular joy for life. A joy that she passed to all who crossed her path. She was Christian by faith, loved traveling and her pool parties. Jo Ann was loved and cherished and will be missed by her family and friends.In addition to her parents, Jo Ann was preceded in death by her grandson Jimmy Sal Montgomery.Surviving is her husband James E. Montgomery, whom she married on April 28, 1956; her four children; Mark (Cindy) Montgomery of Toronto, Matthew (Debbie) Montgomery of Toronto, Michael (Angela) Montgomery of Columbus, OH and Marsha (Roger) Lewis of Toronto; her sister Shirley Gamble and loving cousins Lori and Andrew and her brother Joseph (Karen) Gogul all of Toronto. Jo Ann also leaves behind her five grandchildren, Joshua Montgomery, Mallory (Kyle) Kursim, Emily, Samuel and Madeline Montgomery. Jo Ann loved and adored all of her cousins and her girlfriends. Visitation for Jo Ann will be held on Monday, May 7 from 2-4 and 6-9 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home, Inc., 701 Findley St. in Toronto where her Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am. Pastor Tom Klaserner will celebrate her service and burial will be held at the convenience of her family.
