Joan L. (Graessle) Cooper, 83, of Toronto, OH, passed away Monday, March 2, 2009 in Trinity Medical Center West.Joan was born on January 13, 1926 in Columbus, OH, daughter of the late Herbert and Beulah (Thomas) Graessle. Joan was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Toronto, OH.In addition to her parents, Joan was preceded in death by her brother, Jack Graessle.Joan is survived by her husband, Harold M. Cooper of home, whom she married on May 1, 1948; her son Thomas H. (Marilyn) Cooper; her son David C. (Jill) Cooper and her daughter Patricia (Robert) Shepard all of Georgia. Joan is also survived by six grandchildren. There will be a Memorial visitation held on Saturday, March 14 from 2-4pm, followed by a Memorial Service at 4pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, OH. The Rev. Mike Bongart will officiate the service. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
