Joan Catherine (Healy) Schultz, 70, of Toronto, OH, passed away Thursday Aug. 25, 2016.

Joan was born Feb. 26, 1946 in Pittsburgh, PA, daughter of Theresa (Gmuer) Healy, who survives and the late John Healy.

She was retired from the Jefferson Behavioral Health System in Steubenville where she worked as a File Clerk.

Joan was a longtime member of Brays Chapel U.M. Church in Toronto.

Surviving in addition to her mother, Theresa Healy of Pittsburgh, PA, is her husband Robert P. Schultz, whom she married on Nov. 14, 1977; her son Guy Forcone of New Jersey; her two daughters, Kim Cowgar of Steubenville and Kristy Schultz of Toronto; two sisters, Peggy Bentley of FL and Theresa Healy of Pittsburgh; four brothers, John, Rick, Ron and Rob Healy all of Pittsburgh; three grandchildren, Justin Cowgar, Guy Forcone IV and Sydni Forcone.

Besides being the rock for her family, Joanie was a wonderful mom and grandma even to those who werent her own. Those who called her friend will remember her for her strength, her faith, and her loving nature.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Service for Joanie on Sunday Sept. 4, 2016 at 2 pm at Brays Chapel Methodist Church located at 936 Co. Rd. 56 Toronto, OH. Pastor Ed Kovacik will celebrate her service.

Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.
