John Danier "Jock" Vitek, 62, of Rayland, Ohio passed away Monday April 12, 2010 in Wheeling Hospital. He was born Dec. 15, 1947 in Martins Ferry, son of John S. Vitek who survives and the late Emma (Kontra) Vitek. "Jock" was retired from Titanium Metals in Toronto and was a member of the Smithfield Masonic Lodge # 182 F&AM. In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife of 38 years Cindy (Alloggia) Vitek, his daughter Kristina (Scott) Neumore and grandchildren Caden and Kylie, his son Ryan (Sara) Vitek and granddaughter Kaylee. His brother Jeff (Tracy) Vitek and sister Kim Rosiak. Friends and family may call on Thursday from 4 to 8 pm., at the J. E. Foster Funeral Home, Inc., 107 Hill St. Smithfield. A private funeral service will be held on Friday. Pastor Jim Monogioudis will conduct the service. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens in Pleasant Grove.
