John Guzy 91 of Rayland, Ohio died Friday Sept. 17, 2004In East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry. John was born April 27, 1913 in Leechburg, Pa. son of the late Alex and Tillie Tecla Guzy.He is a retired employee of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. He is a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Smithfield and the Knights of Columbus. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by; his wife, Anna M. (Habursky Guzy in Oct. of 2003, two daughters; Rose Marie Kinyo, and Mary Ann Burkhead and Two Sons, John and Robert Guzy. Surviving are; 9 Grandchildren, 9 Great-Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends and family may call on Sunday from 5 - 8 pm. at the J. E. Foster Funeral Home, Inc. 107 Hill St. Smithfield. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be held on Monday at 10:00 am. at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Smithfield; Fr. Timothy Kozak will be the Celebrant. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens in Pleasant Grove. Wake Service Sunday evening at 7:30 pm.
