John R. 'JR' Iams, 52 of Toronto, OH, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2014 at his home. JR was born Feb. 10, 1962 in Weirton, WV, son of John R. Iams, II and Janice (Parke) Brewer. JR worked for 22 years at WTI in East Liverpool as a Control Room Operator. He attended Crossroads Christian Church in Wintersville, OH. He had a special love for his grandchildren and a love for golf, fishing, the Pittsburgh Steelers, blues and music playing his guitar in several churches in the Calcutta area in their Music Ministries. JR leaves behind his father John of Williamsport, PA and his mother Janice (Dan) Brewer of Smithton, IL; his wife Pamela E. (Kemp) Iams of Toronto; his daughter Kelly (Craig) Ridgway of Mascoutah, IL, son Brandon (Marissa) Iams of Seattle,WA, son Jeremiah (Sarah) Reeves of Wellsville, OH, daughter Michelle (Robert) Daharsh of Pahrump, NV, step-daughter Kelly (Steve) Zadrozny of McDonald, PA; his sister Cheryl (Brian) Warnieke of Williamsport, PA; his five grandchildren, Wyatt, Adalyn, Hadassah, Elijah and Logan and one on the way and three nieces and nephews. Visitation for JR will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 26 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, OH, where services will be held Wednesday at 10 am with Pastor Jeff Greco officiating. JR's burial will be held at the convenience of his family.
