John H. "Yonko" Martin, 76, of Toronto, Ohio passed away suddenly Tuesday evening December 4, 2012 in Trinity Medical Center ER. John was born December 7, 1935 in Toronto, son of the late Joseph H. and Lillian Morrow Martin. John was retired from the former Bonitati Auto, where he worked as a mechanic. He also served his country in the U S Army during the Korean War.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his father and mother in-law Paul and Cora Kubina, 5 sisters, Jean, Elizabeth Jean, Meryle Pauline, Bernice Hescht and Myriam D. Lewis; 4 brothers, James F., Jay A., William and George A. Martin.Surviving are his wife Olivia Rae (Kubina) Martin of home, three daughters, Peggy Sue (Dana "Fish" ) Lohr of Wintersville, Cora (Vito) Suppa and Dorothy Martin of Toronto. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren. Three sisters, Josphine Moore, Mary Ann Lewis, Joan Jones and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Saturday December 8, 2012 from 3:00 pm up til time of John's Funeral Service at 7:00 pm. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
