John S. McCart, 75, of Toronto, Ohio passed away Monday April 12, 2010 in Trinity Medical Center West.John was born Dec. 12, 1934 in Toronto, son of the late John and Margaret Feth McCart. John was retired from Signode Co. in Weirton, where he worked in the Rolling Mill. He was a member of St. Francis R.C. Church in Toronto, the Sunrise Sr. Citizens, where he was a Past President and was a long time Little League coach in Toronto.In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by and infant brother Thomas and two infant sisters Sondra and Judy. Surviving are his wife Carolyn (Smith) McCart whom he married on May 7, 1955, his daughter Ruthann (Steve) Franczak of North Ridgeville, Ohio. Two sons John McCart of North Ridgeville, Ohio, Shawn (Jennifer) McCart of Lorain, Ohio. Sister Janet (David) Cope and his brother James (Donna) McCart all of Toronto. 6 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Friends and family may call on Wednesday from 4 - 8 pm., at the J. E. Foster Funeral Homes, Inc., 701 Findley St. Toronto, Ohio. A prayer Service will be held on Thursday morning at 9:30 am. at the Funeral Home followed by Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 10:00 am. at St. Francis Church in Toronto. Father Thomas Vennitti will celebrate the Mass and burial will follow in Toronto Union Cemetery. Vigil Service will be Wednesday evening at 8:00 pm.
