John A. Sadar, 67, of Dillonvale, OH, passed away Monday, March 11, 2024, in the Gables Care Center in Hopedale, OH.

John was born Sept. 18, 1956, in Martins Ferry, OH, son of the late, John E. and Antonia Lenore (Domenick) Sadar.

John was a retired truck driver and a former EMT and Fire Fighter with the Village of Smithfield, OH.

John is survived by his wife, Frances J. (Smith) Sadar; son, John F. Sadar of Dillonvale; two sisters, Doreen Barczak, and her husband, Frank of Orlando, FL, and Amelia Sadar, and her husband Harvey Bowser, of Pittsburgh, PA; father and mother-in-law, Frank and Annette Smith of Smithfield; two cousins, Tony and Pam Domenick of Piney Fork, OH, and Kevin and Valerie Klubert of Yorkville, OH, and three nieces and one nephew.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at 12 noon at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Smithfield, OH. Wally Jancura will officiate. Family and friends are welcome to gather at the funeral home from 11 am to 12 noon.
