John K. Shaw, 80, of Steubenville, OH, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2011 at his home. John was born August 17, 1930 in Steubenville, OH, son of the late John and Agnes (Kerr) Shaw. John was a member of Finley United Methodist Church, he was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp., where he worked in the BOF; John was also a retired truck driver with Geno Morelli and Sons. John served his country in the Korean War with the US Army.In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife, Doris (Poole) Shaw who passed away in 1998. John is survived by one son, John (Audrey) Shaw of Weirton, WV; two daughters, Pam (Flip) Granatir of Steubenville, OH and Cindy Ealy of Florida; one brother Neil Shaw of Arkansas; John is also survived by his 4 grandchildren, Shane (Kristin) Granatir of Richmond, OH, Shawn Granatir of Steubenville, OH, Alissa (Ryan) Cinalli of Cleveland, OH and John Shaw of Weirton, WV. Private services for John will be held at the convenience of his family. Memorial donations may be made to Finley United Methodist Church. John's arrangements were handled by the J.E.
