John T. Tarr, 35, of New Somerset, OH, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2018.

John was born Oct. 5, 1982 in Steubenville, OH, son of the late John C. Tarr and Pamela (Pinnell) Murvine who survives.

He was employed by C.A. Joseph Co., Inc. in Irondale, OH. John was also a diehard Michigan fan.

In addition to his father, John was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Joyce Pinnell and his paternal grandparents, Don and Barb Murvine.

John leaves behind his mother and dad, Pam and Keith Murvine of New Somerset; his brother, Jeremy (Shea) Murvine of New Somerset; his fianc, Ginger Wiant of Hammondsville, OH; his maternal grandfather, Jimmy Pinnell; his daughter, Hailey Katz of Hopedale, OH; his step-sisters, Janet Tarr and Jennifer Tarr Robertson; his paternal grandparents, Durwood and Peggy Tarr; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Family and friends will be received Sunday, June 10 from 2-6 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. His burial will be held at the convenience of his family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the funeral home.
