John Raymond "Ray" Williams, 72, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away at his home on Thursday Feb. 7, 2013. Ray was born Aug. 17, 1940 in Steubenville, son of the late Charles Blackburn and Bernice Louise Sims Williams. Ray retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. in 1998 after 40 yrs. of employment, working on the Railroad crew. He was a member of the Steubenville Bible Study and a member of the 12 Step Program. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Thomas Williams. Surviving are his children, Barbara (Greg) Barto of Toronto, Gregg Williams of Winston-Salem N.C. and Joan Blackwell of Lewisville, N.C. His sister Linda (Jim) Crane of Wintersville and 5 grandchildren.A Memorial visitation will be held on Monday from 4-7 pm. at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home, 701 Findley St. Toronto, Ohio. Burial will be at the convenience of his family in Ft. Steuben Burial Estates in Wintersville.
