Jolene Kay Sayers, 69, of Toronto, OH, passed away Sunday, Dec. 31, 2023 in the Weirton Medical Center in Weirton, WV.

Jolene was born Aug. 15, 1954, in Iowa, daughter of the late Bobby J. and Kathryn (Knecht) Stroud.

Jolene formerly worked for Johnson & Johnson in the Warehouse Dept., and also for Bulldog Racks Shipping and Receiving Dept.

She had a love for motorcycles and cars, especially Harley Davidsons and Corvettes.

In addition to her parents, Jolene was preceded in death by her brother, Rick Stroud.

Surviving is her husband, Brian K. Sayers, whom she married Aug. 1, 2010; son, Paul (Misty) Newman, daughter, Paulette (Nick) Applegarth and stepson, Jason (Diamond) Sayers all of Toronto; three sisters, Connie Norman, and Dorlene (Keith) Appleton, both of Illinois, and Delores (Cindy) Stroud of Georgia; seven grandchildren, Piper, Ive, Ruby, Kaylee, Dayna, Shanna (Jared) Harvey and Gage; two great-grandchildren, Huxlee and Haizlee Harvey.

Visitation for family and friends will take place on Thursday Jan. 4, from 4 pm to 8 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, OH, where her funeral service will be held Friday at 11 am. Rev. Kevin Rinkes will officiate, and burial will follow in the Island Creek Cemetery in Toronto. www.jefosterfh.com
