Joseph C. Falasca, 80, of Toronto, OH, passed away Sunday, Jan. 5, 2020 in the Trinity Medical Center West ER in Steubenville, OH.

Joe was born Oct. 12, 1939 in Toronto, son of the late Mario, Sr. and Pauline (Swartz) Falasca.

He worked for National Steel and retired from the Administration Dept. of the Weirton Steel Corp in 1999. Joe was a 1957 graduate of Toronto High School and a member of the Dyer Country Club in Toronto.

Joe leaves behind his loving wife of 62 years, Regina J. (Thompson) Falasca; his son, John (Terri) Falasca of Toronto; his three daughters, Mitzi (Steve) Fall of Cincinnati, OH, Lori Jo (Jim) Sestito of Clearwater, FL and Wendy (Eric) Henry of Toronto; his brother, Mario (Diana) Falasca, Jr. of Toronto; his sister, Donna (Jim) Doak of Weirton, WV; his sister-in-law, Becky Thompson of Toronto; his nine grandchildren, Jarrod Falasca, Jasmyn (Blake) Weber, Brianna Burruss, Jill (Jason) Conley, Stephanie Fall (Mike Haake), Jimmy and Amanda Sestito, Erica (Ryan) Phillips and Megan (Anthony) Ross; four great-grandchildren, Elin Conley, Emma Ross, Rylee Phillips and Henry Ross; several nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Gracie.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, Jan. 8 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto where his funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 am. Rev. Kevin Rinkes will officiate, and burial will follow in Toronto Union Cemetery. www.jefosterfh.com
