Obituary

Joseph M. Kish, 52, of New Alexandria, passed away Monday, April 14, 2008 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. Joe was born December 11, 1955 in Steubenville, OH, son of the late Joseph M. Kish and his mother, who survives, Pauline Bell. He was a member of the Mingo Sportsman Club, where he resided, Jodee's Club in Weirton and also the Horseshoe Club in New Alexandria. In addition to his father, Joe was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Matthew Kish who passed away in 1999. Joe is survived by his mother, Pauline and her husband Floyd Bell of the Mingo Sportsman's Club; his daughter Holly Butiera and her son Jonathan of Mingo Jct.; sister Paula and her husband Rick June of Steubenville; brothers Jim Kish of New Alexandria and Larry Kish of the Mingo Sportsman's Club; sisters Sandy Linn of Brilliant and Connie Pflugh and her companion John Magyar of George's Run; brother Tommy Kish of the Mingo Sportsman's Club; step-brothers Michael and his wife Sam Bell of Mingo and Chuck Bell of Richmond; half-brother Greg and his wife Julia Bell of Richmond; his companion Antoinette Moore and her two daughters, Haley and Denise Stern of Wintersville. Joe is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visitation for Joe will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2008 from 3-8pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Smithfield, OH. There will be a service conducted by the Mingo Sportsman's Club held at 6pm and a memorial service held at 8pm with Pastor Bill Westling officiating.
