Joseph W. Kropka, 63, of Vero Beach, FL, formerly of Cadiz, OH, passed away June 24, 2023 at his home.

Joe was born March 29, 1960, in Martins Ferry, OH, son of the late Walter and Mildred (Dowdell) Kropka. He was also preceded in death by his brother, John Pevarski.

He was a 1978 graduate of Buckeye South High School and a Veteran of the US Navy.

Joe leaves behind his sister, Judi (Kropka) Stephenson of Weirton, WV; brother, Kerry (Lois) Pevarski of New Martinsville, WV; two nephews, Jason and Jesse, and one niece, Jennifer.

Family and friends will gather on Tuesday, Aug. 29 from 5 PM to 7 PM at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Smithfield, OH. A Memorial Service will follow at 7 PM with Kenny Kourim officiating. Joe will be laid to rest at Mt. Calvary Cemetery with his mother Mildred. www.jefosterfh.com
