Joseph L. "Turtle" Ross, 53 of Piney Fork, Ohio passed away Sunday Oct. 30, 2011 at the Harrison Community Hospital in Cadiz. Joe was born June 19, 1958 in Steubenville, son of the late Marion and Ruth Aretta Lindsey Ross. Joe worked for 20 years in the Reconditioning Dept. at West End Motors in Wintersville. In addition to his parents Joe was preceded in death by his sister Sharlene G. Ross, brother Paul T. Ross, three nieces Cindy Ross, Vickie Lynn Exterovich and Agnes Ross. Three nephews Danny Ray Ross, Johnny Ross, Billy Jo Ross and one great niece Sammy.Surviving is his wife Deanna J. (Harris) Ross, of home, three sisters, Yvonne Ross Minor of Pottery Addition, Suzan (Tom) Ross Schoelwer of Toronto, Francis Ross Wright of Steubenville, five brothers, James (Phyllis) Ross of Smithfield, Charles (Ruth) Ross of Toronto, Richard Ross of Cadiz, Roy (Glenna) Ross of Tampa, FL., and Daniel (Hope) Ross of Miamisburg, Ohio. Several nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be on Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 pm. at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home 107 Hill St. Smithfield; where Services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am.
