Joseph D. Staffilino, 60, of Mingo Jct., OH, passed away Feb. 19, 2024, in the Trinity West Medical Center in Steubenville, OH.

Joe was born May 8, 1963, in Steubenville, son of the late Louis Lane Staffilino, Sr. and Nancy Jane (Patterson) Locher.

He was a 1981 graduate of Catholic Central High School. After graduation Joe worked at Lanes Lounge in Mingo, a family business, for many years. He also owned and operated Staffilinos Lawn Service and most recently was co-owner and operator, with his wife Brenda, of the Woof Inn, a doggy daycare facility, at his home in Mingo.

In addition to spending time at home with his family, Joe also enjoyed taking his motorcycle out for rides and shooting pool with his daughter Tiffany.

In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by an infant son, Joseph Lane Staffilino, brother, Louis "Choo Choo" Staffilino, Jr., and sisters, Jeannie Staffilino and Roseann Costello, two dogs, Thelma and Beau Beau.

Joe leaves behind his wife of 39 years, Brenda L. (Johnson) Staffilino, whom he married Sept. 29, 1984; son, William "Billy" Staffilino, and daughter, Tiffany Staffilino all of Mingo Jct.; sister, Nancy Lou (Patrick) McSurdy of Boise, ID; grandchildren, Elijanna Kennedy, Chason and Sloane Liegey all of California; two dogs, Pip and Louise.

Services for Joe will be privately held at the convenience of his family. His arrangements are in the care of the J.E. Foster Funeral Home and On-Site Cremation Center in Toronto, OH. www.jefosterfh.com
