Joseph N. Sustik, 65, of Smithfield, OH, passed away Friday, July 19, 2013 in the Acuity Specialty in Steubenville, OH.Joe was born November 1, 1947 in Steubenville, OH, son of the late Earl Sustik and Margaret Cooper Hockenberry who survives.Joe was retired from the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 495 out of Cambridge, OH; he was a former Smithfield Village Council Member and Methodist by faith and also served his country in Vietnam in the US Navy.He is survived by his wife, Deborah (Peeling) Sustik of home whom were married for 40 years having wed on June 16, 1973; his three sons, Jayson (Summer) Sustik of Smithfield, OH, Casey (Rachel) Sustik of St. Clairsville, OH and Christopher Sustik of Bellaire, OH; his mother Margaret "Peg" Hockenberry of Smithfield, OH and daughter-in-law Jodi Jackfert of Martins Ferry, OH. He also leaves behind four grandchildren, Macy Jo Sustik, Lexi Madalyn Hughes, Avery Jade and Kaylee Jaymes Sustik.Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 23 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Smithfield, OH where his funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11am. Pastor Jim Monogioudis will officiate and burial will follow in Northern Cemetery in Smithfield, OH.
