Joseph "Hoss" Zink, Jr., 88 of Dry Fork Road Dillonvale, OH, passed away Friday June 8, 2012 in the Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville, OH. Joe was born April 9, 1924 in Dillonvale, OH, son of the late Joseph Koziuk Zink Sr., and Mildred Opat Zink. Joe was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Mingo Plant as a welder and was Methodist by faith. He Loved the Cleveland Browns and the Indians; he was a passionate bowler, a member of the C.S.A. and the Dillonvale American Legion. Joe spent many hours in his garage welding and fixing things for everyone. Joe served his country in the U.S. Navy during W.W. II.Joe was preceded in death by his 1st wife Mary Braley Zink in 1967 and by his 2nd wife Helen Kankrdlik Zink in 2005. Surviving is his son, Jim Zink of Mingo Jct.; three daughters, Karen Pensis of Columbus, Sherry Morrison of Dillonvale and Debra (Dave) Klan of Smithfield; two step-children, Fern Mallory of Dillonvale and Robert Laurie of Cleveland; his brother Ed Zink of Owatonna MN., his sister Helen Hall of Wintersville and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Burial will be at the convenience of his family. J.E.
