Joyce E. Brand, 86, of Toronto, OH, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022, in the Sienna Skilled Nursing Center in Wintersville, OH, under the care of Valley Hospice.

Joyce was born June 17, 1935, in Bloomingdale, OH, daughter of the late Albert and Lily Belle (Millhorn) Coffman.

She formerly worked at the Steubenville Herald Star as a mail room supervisor and AVI Food Vending. Joyce was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Toronto.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Alton D. Bud Brand, on April 19, 2013, and an infant brother, Darrell Keith Coffman.

Surviving are her daughters, Debra Hall, and Patricia (John) Wade, both of Toronto; brother, Gary (Mary Ann) Coffman of Butler, MO; four grandchildren, Lauren and Allison Hall and Ryan (Kristy) and Matthew (Amber) Garman; two great-grandchildren, Colson and Drexton Garman.

Visitation will be held Sunday April 3 from 1 to 4 pm followed by Joyces funeral service at 4 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. Rev. Dennis Kelley and Rev. Eric Frey will officiate. A private burial will take place Monday in the Island Creek Cemetery in Toronto.
