Juanita McEwen, 85, of Steubenville, OH, formerly of Toronto, OH, passed away Friday, Dec. 4, 2020 in the Lancia Villa Royale Nursing Home.

Juanita was born Nov. 17, 1935 in Toronto, daughter of the late Arley and Ruth (Crago) Jones.

She was retired from the Trinity Health Systems where she worked in the Business Office and Admitting. Juanita was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Toronto and the Toronto American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. In her younger years, she loved to roller-skate at the many rinks around the area.

In addition to her parents, Juanita was preceded in death by her daughter Nora Tip McCourt, her daughter-in-law Nadine McEwen, her son-in-law Andy Fetsko, her stepfather Joe Lukacena, her sister Dorothy Pelegreen and her great-grandson Jefforey Maffett.

Juanita leaves behind her son, Frank E. McEwen, Jr. of Toronto; her daughter, Cheryl Fetsko of Hilliard, OH; her brother, Terry (Rebecca) Jones of Toronto; her six grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren with one on the way.

Family and friends will be received Friday, Dec. 11 from 1 PM to 3 PM at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto followed by Juanitas Memorial Service at 3 PM. Rev. Kevin Rinkes will officiate and burial will be held at the convenience of her family in the Island Creek Cemetery in Toronto.
