RODGERS, Julia Blanche 'Meme,' 86, of Toronto, Ohio, a loving mother, grandmother and friend, entered into heaven peacefully Wednesday, September 5, 2007, in the company of her close friends and family after an abrupt illness.She was born March 27, 1921, in Morgantown, West Virginia, the daughter of the late William and Grace (Hull) Wolfe.Julia was a retired office administrator for the former Mammoth Plastics in Wellsburg, West Virginia. She was a former board member of the BrookeCounty March of Dimes and past President of the Wellsburg American Legion Post 34 Ladies Auxiliary.She was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed Pittsburgh Steelers and West Virginia Mountaineers football.In addition to her parents, Julia was preceded in death by her adoring daughter F. Kay Schuetzner in 2001; sisters, Martha Marple and Irene Coleman; brothers James Wolfe and William Wolfe. Surviving is her daughter, Bonnie Lukacena and husband Nick of Toronto, Ohio; son-in-law Irv Schuetzner of Morgantown, West Virginia; sister Dolores Donovan of Groton, Connecticut; grandchildren, Shayne Schuetzner, Shannon Schuetzner, Shelby Carrell and husband Landon, Shey Schuetzner, Daniel Z. Jenkins, Bryana Jenkins, Nicholas Hazlett Lukacena and Kaylee Lukacena; three great-grandchildren; and many unforgettable friends, including enduring friend Glenda Jo Rink, and 'Bingo Buddies' Gene McClain and Maggie Cronin. Friends wishing to call, can do so on Saturday, 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the JE Foster Funeral Home in Toronto with a remembrance service at 8:30 p.m., officiated by Pastor Al Talkington, and Sunday 10 a.m. to 2p.m. at McCulla Funeral Home in Morgantown with a private burial service to take place at Pleasant Hills Cemetery with Bishop Irv Schuetzner officiating. www.jefosterfh.com
