Karen Ann (Fickes) Freas, 70, of Toronto, OH, passed away Friday Sept. 30, 2022, in the UPMC Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.

Karen was born April 10, 1952, in Steubenville, OH, daughter of the late Donald Hubert and Margaret Jean (Lucsko) Fickes.

She was retired from the Toronto Apothecary and had also worked at the former Toronto Pharmacy.

She was a member of the Toronto Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladies Auxiliary 1276.

In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her sister, Esther Clapham.

Surviving is her husband, Ralph L. Freas whom she married June 10, 1972; two daughters, Tanya (Vince) Cunningham of Mechanicstown, OH, and Erica Ann Freas of Toronto; two grandchildren, Chessa and Zane Cunningham.

Visitation will be held Tuesday Oct. 4, 2022, from 2 to 4 pm & 6 to 8 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. Karens funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 am with Rev. Kevin Rinkes. Entombment will follow in the Ft. Steuben Burial Estates in Wintersville, OH.

An Eagles Auxiliary service will be held Tuesday at 7 pm.
