Karlene K. (Johnson) Daly, 71, of Steubenville, OH, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2011 in the Lifeline Hospital in Wintersville, OH.Karlene was born on September 29, 1939 in Wheeling, WV, daughter of the late Maurice Johnson and Emma Belle (Caraway) Johnson who survives.Karlene was a Protestant by faith and she was a Graduate of Smithfield High School Class of 1957.In addition to her father Karlene was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Daly who passed away in 2007.Karlene is survived by her mother, Emma Belle Johnson of Smithfield; her brother Carl and his wife Jean Johnson; her two nieces Lori and her husband David Dodds and Patty and her husband Denny Czuchran; her two nephews D'Wayne and his wife Leslie Johnson and Carl Johnson Jr. all of Smithfield, OH. Karlene is also survived by several great-nieces and nephews.Following Karlene's wishes there were no services and she was buried in Northern Cemetery in Smithfield, OH. J.E.
