Katherine L. Ulan, 79 of Steubenville, Ohio passed away Saturday March 7, 2009 in the Carriage Inn of Steubenville after an extended stay. She was born Nov. 29, 1929 in Tionesta, Pa., daughter of the late Ray and Waive Cropp Saxton. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Shenango Valley Church of God in Sharon, Pa. In addition to her parents Katherine was preceded in death by a daughter Diane Koser, on Feb. 16th of this year. Surviving are her daughter Crystal (Doug) Yates of Brookville, Pa., her son-in-law Robert Koser of Sharon, Pa., two grandsons Devin Koser and Kyle Yates, a great-grandson William Koser. Her brother Hubert (Clara) Saxton of Tionesta, Pa., two sisters Junita (Glenn) Gigliotti of W. Middlesex, Pa., and Elsie Remines of Tazwell, Va. A Memorial Service will be held at the convenience of her family in Brookville, Pa. Katherine's arrangements are in the care of the J. E.
