Kathleen E. Rine (Minch) Sabatini, 86, of Rayland, Ohio passed away Wednesday Sept. 14, 2011 at her home. Kathy was born Nov. 1, 1924 in New Alexandria, OH, daughter of the late Albert and Grace Porter Rine. Kathy was Co-Owner along with her late husband Fred of Sabatini's Garage in Smithfield for many years. She was Methodist by Faith, her memberships include; Smithfield Historical Society, Jefferson Co. Democratic Central Committee member, Dillonvale AARP, Senior Citizens Club's in Smithfield and Mingo Jct., and the Piney Fork American Legion Post #735 Ladies Auxiliary.In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her husband Fred on March 11, 2011, by her 1st husband James Minch, her sister Wilma Peterson, her brother Clyde Rine, infant sister Thelma Rine, sister Helen Bell and two nephews John and Doug Peterson.Surviving are her daughter Kathryn and her husband Dave Simmons of New Alexandria, OH; her grandson Troy David (Misty) Simmons of Rayland, OH; two great-grandchildren Troy II and Te'a Simmons; her sister Mary Heckert of Wintersville, OH, along with several nieces and nephews. Visitation for Kathy will be on Friday, September 16 from 4 to 8 pm, at the J. E. Foster Funeral Homes, Inc., 107 Hill St. Smithfield, where her Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am with Rev. Sam Retzer officiating. Entombment will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens in Colerain, OH.
