Kathryn Lynn (Hannan) Hale, 70, of Toronto, OH, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2023, in the West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, surrounded by her family.

Kathy was born July 25, 1952, in Steubenville, OH, daughter of the late James Robert Patsy Hannan and Alice Geraldine Gerri (McTheny) Hannan.

She was previously employed as a clerk at the former Staceys IGA and Ben Franklin Stores both in Toronto. Kathy was a 1970 graduate of Stanton High School.

In addition to her parents, Patsy and Gerri, Kathy was preceded in death by sister, Mary Beth Board and niece, Jenny Hannan.

She is survived by her husband, Kenny Hale, whom she married Aug. 16, 1975; two daughters, Alicia (Justin) Myslinsky of Toronto and Krista Beswick and companion Paul Roe of Mingo Jct., OH; three brothers, James Jim (Paula) Hannan of Toronto, Pat (Melinda) and Tim (Michelle) Hannan both of Irondale, OH; four grandchildren, Jake Beswick, Elliana, Emma, and Mako Myslinsky, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held Sunday, Feb. 19 from 1 to 4 PM followed by her funeral service Monday at 11 AM at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. Rev. Frank Rogers will officiate and burial will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery in Toronto, OH. www.jefosterfh.com
