Kathryn Elizabeth (Minch) Simmons, 77, of Mingo Jct., OH, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2022, in the Carriage Inn of Steubenville, OH.

Kathy was born Oct. 13, 1945, in Steubenville, daughter of the late James Minch and Kathleen (Rine) Minch Sabatini.

Kathy had worked for her stepfather and mother at the former Sabatinis Auto in Smithfield, OH.

She was a former member and past president of the Smithfield Jr. Womens Club and past president of the Piney Fork American Legion Post # 735 Ladies Auxiliary.

In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her stepfather, Fred Sabatini.

Surviving is her husband, David Simmons, whom she married Sept. 7, 1968; son, Troy (Amber) Simmons of Rayland, OH; grandson, Troy Simmons II, granddaughter, Tea Simmons, and great-granddaughter, Nova Lollathin all of Mingo Jct.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2022, from 5 to 8 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Smithfield, OH. Services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
