Kathryn P. Steedman, 91, of New Palastine, IN, formerly of Steubenville, OH, passed away Monday, Mar. 13 at her home.

Kathryn was born April 14, 1925 in Gilmer Co., WV, daughter of the late John and Moda (Fishback) Parker.

She previously attended Bell Chapel U.M. Church in Pleasant Hill and she was a member of the Steubenville Eastern Stars. Kathryn also worked at Wright Field during WWII supplying parts for the Navy planes.

In addition to her parents, Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband, John Steedman who passed in 1999 and her three sisters, Annajean, Pauline and Lelia.

Kathryn leaves behind her two daughters, Kathy (Larry) Cross of New Palastine and Johnna Steedman of Steubenville and her son, John Steedman of Roanoke, VA; her five grandchildren, Andraea and Larry Cross, John, Robert and Ian Steedman and her five great-grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, Mar. 17 from 5-7 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home 701 Findley St. in Toronto, OH. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Ft. Steuben Burial Estates in Wintersville, OH.

Eastern Star Services will be held on Friday evening at 7 pm.
