Kathy L. Workman, 66, of Toronto, OH, passed away Monday, January 15, 2024, in the Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.

Kathy was born May 18, 1957, in Steubenville, OH, daughter of the late Ernest "Ernie" and Marian (Yocum) Rawson.

She was a 1975 graduate of Stanton High School. After graduation she went to work and held several jobs over the years including Reisbecks Food Mart in Wintersville, and later Trinity Health System where she worked as an Inventory Specialist. She retired from Trinity in 2020.

Kathy loved warm weather and sunshine, traveling to Arizona, spending time with her family, watching Survivor, and ALL things Pink Floyd.

While our hearts are broken that she is no longer with us, we take comfort in knowing she is free from pain and is at peace in the Great Gig in the Sky and will Shine On like the Diamond she is.

In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by sisters, Connie Workman and Kay Porter, and brothers, Boyd and Bob Rawson.

Kathy leaves behind her husband, Jim "JB" Workman whom she married April 30, 1977; two sons, Justin Workman and wife Tawna, and Drew Workman and wife Rachel; six grandchildren, Issac Workman, Alex and Jenna Workman, Mason Workman, Jaxon and Jole Manbeck; brother, Victor "Vic" Rawson and wife Cheryl; niece and nephew, Whitney Cornell and Acea Rawson; good friend, Christy Cunningham; her "Arizona Sister," Nancy Bowling, and several other nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service for Kathy will be held on Saturday, January 27 at 2 pm at the New Somerset Christian Church in New Somerset, OH. Friends and family will be received at the church prior to the service from 1 pm to 2pm. Pastor Rob Minto will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Kathys family.
