Kenneth P. Kenny Elson, Sr., 73, passed away Thursday, Dec. 2, 2021, at his home in Toronto, OH, surrounded by his family.

Kenny was born October 5, 1948, in Steubenville, OH, son of the late Paul F. and Betty Mae (Burns) Elson.

He was retired from the Bricklayers Local #11 in Weirton, WV. Kenny was a member of the Church of Christ in Austintown, OH.

Kenny was a wonderful grandfather, dad, brother, and husband. His family and friends always came first. He would take the shirt off his back for anyone who needed it. He was a mentor to many people during his life, as he was a multitalented person, lover of all things family, the best dad jokes, and the biggest dessert connoisseur you would ever meet.

In addition to his parents, Kenny was preceded in death by his first wife, Cynthia (Merrill) Elson, and brother, Ted Elson.

Kenny leaves behind his wife, Alice Kay (Allen) Elson, whom he married Aug. 5, 2015; daughter, Jayme Renae Elson of Toronto; son, Kenneth P. Elson, Jr., of Chillicothe, OH; sister, Bonnie (Terry) Ewing of Toronto; two grandchildren, Sam Elson and Lexi (Paul Paschuck) Elson.

Kennys wishes were to be cremated. A celebration of his life will be held at the convenience of his family. Arrangements for Kenny are in the care of the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto.
