Obituary

Kenneth Paul Frazee "Gage" age 87 of Steubenville, OH, passed away surrounded by family on February 3, 2022, at Gables Care Center Hopedale, OH. He was born August 6, 1934, in Steubenville, a son of the late George Troy and Lona Mae Kisner Frazee.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Albert, Clifford, Eugene, Norman, sister Eloise Selsor and son-in-law Kent Taylor.

Kenny was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, caring brother, and brother-in-law. In his younger years he worked for Steubenville Pottery, Pure Milk and Rogers Sohio Station and retired from Sal Chemical where he was a warehouse manager. He loved working in his yard, riding his John Deere tractor and attending his grandchildrens performances and sporting events. He dearly loved his "Darlin Darlene" as he called her, and his grandchildren were his pride and joy. He knew no stranger and would give the shirt off his back if you needed it. He had a multitude of friends and loved and appreciated any time spent talking or visiting with them, family members and special neighbors.

Kenny is survived by his wife of 68 years Darlene, daughters Cheryl Taylor of Bloomingdale, OH, Marcy Pannett (James) of Follansbee, WV, Paula Phillips (Burt) of Louisville, OH. Grandchildren Zachary Taylor (Krista), Emily Phillips, Delaney Phillips, Nicholas Pannett, Great Grandchild Simon Pannett and special family friend Cameron Norquest.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Toronto, OH, and enjoyed their outreach calls, visits, and special packages to brighten spirits.

The family would like to thank Gables Care Center staff for their exceptional care over the last month. Their caring kindness toward our family was greatly appreciated.

Friends and family will be received on Tuesday February 8, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto and 10 a.m. until time of services on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Reverend Kevin Rinkes will officiate, and a private family burial will be held at Fort Steuben Burial Estates in Wintersville, OH.

The family kindly requests masks be worn during visitation and funeral services.
