Kenneth T. Straka, 78, of Toronto, OH, passed away Monday Sept. 11, 2017 in the Sewickley Hospital in Sewickley, PA.

Kenny was born Dec. 28, 1938 in Toronto, son of the late, Joseph F. and Freda Maude (Channels) Straka.

He was retired from the Republic Steel Corp. where he worked as a Molder. Kenny was a Veteran of the US Army having served his country in the Vietnam War.

Kenny was a member of the Toronto American Legion Post 86 and he was an avid camper at Austin Lake outside of Toronto.

Kenny leaves behind his wife, Patricia Ann (Vinburg) Straka whom he married Feb. 17, 1984; his two sons, David & Thomas Straka both of FL; his two brothers, Robert (Pat) Straka of Toronto and Gary (Betty) Straka of Follansbee, WV; his close friend, Ronald Freeman of Rayland, OH; two nieces, one nephew and his trusty dog, Papu.

There will be a visitation on Thursday, Sept. 14 from 11 am til the time of his funeral service at 1 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. Rev. Robert Meyer will officiate the service and his burial will follow in Toronto Union Cemetery. Military Graveside Honors will be presented at the cemetery by the Toronto American Legion.
