Larry A. Petry 74, of Pottery Addition (Steubenville), OH, passed away Tuesday Nov. 23, 2021, in the Trinity Med. Center West in Steubenville.

Larry was born Nov. 30, 1946, in Steubenville, son of the late, John Edward and Margaret Elizabeth (Joseph) Petry.

He retired from the Weirton Steel Corp. where he was a construction welder.

Larry served his country during the Vietnam War in the U.S. Marines Corp. He was a member of the Steubenville American Legion, Argon Post #33.

Surviving is his son, Kris (Kristin Hill) Petry of Pottery Addition; daughter, Candace (Paul) Daugherty of Steubenville; sisters, Jean Poling of Lancaster, OH, and Janet Gray of Toronto, OH; brother, Paul (Dana) Petry of AZ; former wife, Janet (David) Kenny of Pottery Addition; eight grandchildren and several nieces, nephews.

Visitation will be held Sunday Nov. 28, from 1 to 4 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. Larrys funeral service will be held Monday at 11 am at the funeral home. Rev. Kevin Rinkes will officiate, and burial will follow in Highland Hills Cemetery in Follansbee, WV.

Military Honors will be presented, by the Toronto American Legion Post #86, at the funeral home following his service.
