Larry D. Wedlake, 55, of Monroe, MI, formerly of Toronto, OH, passed away Thursday Oct. 24, 2013 in his home. Larry was born May 20, 1958 in Steubenville, OH, son of Alfred and Ethel (McMannis) Wedlake. A hard worker and talented "Body Man", Larry worked for Katz Collision in Sylvania, OH. He was a member of the VFW in Toronto and the American Legion in Wintersville, OH. Larry leaves to cherish his memory, his longtime companion Sandra Windland of Monroe, his parents Alfred and Ethel "Punkin" Wedlake of Steubenville, OH; children, David Wedlake of Steubenville, Brandy Mowry of East Liverpool, OH, Tiffany Wedlake of Weirton, WV, and Holly Wedlake of Toronto; step children, Michael Adkins of Monroe, Kelly (Theodore) Bacon and Holly Windland both of Monroe. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Rodney (Robin) Wedlake of Bloomingdale, OH, Randy (Barb) Wedlake of Toronto,Todd (Amy) Wedlake of Toronto, Kevin Wedlake and Bobi Jo Wedlake of PA; his "Grandma Franny", as well as five grandchildren, Kendall, Tristan, Megan, Miranda, Courtney, Justin and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 5-8 pm at the J. E. Foster Funeral Homes, Inc., 701 Findley St. Toronto, OH. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 am at the funeral home with Pastor Raul Diaz officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of his family.
