Lawrence V. Larry Haas, 76, of Toronto, OH, passed away Monday May 23, 2022, in the Valley Hospice Care Center in Steubenville, OH.

Larry was born on June 14, 1945, in Columbus, OH, son of the late Leroy and Violet (Adams) Haas.

Larry was retired from Ohio Edison Power Plant in Toronto, where he worked as a bulldozer operator. After retirement Larry worked for Anthony Mining. He also loved to fish and hunt.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his brothers, Russell and Victor, and sister, Sharon Jordan, and infant sister, Emma Jean.

Surviving is his wife, Dorothy M. (Brannon) Hass, four daughters, Penny (Bill) Scheel of Toronto, Robin (Evan) Moloney of Dayton, OH, Shelly (Jim) Sweeney and Juanita (Eric) Lowe both of Amsterdam, OH; eleven grandchildren, Arian, Lester, Leroy, Mathew, Crystal, Cynthia, Mishell, Jackie, McKenzie, Erica, Savannah and thirteen great-grandchildren.

A private funeral service will be held at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto with Pastor Raul Diaz. Burial will follow in the Ft. Steuben Burial Estate in Wintersville, OH.
