Lillian Mae Kestner, 70, of Toronto, OH, passed away Monday March 2, 2015 at her home.
Lillian was born Feb. 2, 1945 in Rochester, PA, daughter of the late George and Lillian Tharp Kestner.
She was a teacher for many years at Margaretta High School in Castalia, OH. She presently was employed at the Steubenville Walmart, where she has been a door greater for several years. Lillian was looking forward to her retirement from Walmart this Friday March 6, 2015.
Lillian was a lifelong member of the First Presbyterian Church in Toronto, where she served as a Deacon and Elder. She was actively involved with the Sunday School and Summer Bible School programs and the former bell choir of the church. She was also a member of the RSVP.
Surviving is her sister, Caroline M. (David) Savastone of Toronto, her niece Nikki (Chad) Powley and her great-nephew Connor Powley all of Tiltonsville, OH.
Visitation for Lillian will be held on Thursday March 5, 2015 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the J. E. Foster Funeral Home 701 Findley St. in Toronto. Additional visitation will be held Friday at the First Presbyterian Church 116 N. Third St. in Toronto from 10 am til time of Lillians Funeral Service at 11 am. Rev. Michael Bongart will officiate her service and burial will follow in Toronto Union Cemetery.
