Lola E. RawsonSandgren,89of Toronto, passed on to be with the lord July 15, 2006 in the Carriage Inn of Steubenville. Lola was born Feb. 16, 1917 in Follansbee, W.Va., daughter of the late William M. and Daisy Long Williams.She attended FollansbeeHigh School, was a homemaker and did housecleaning for many years while raising her family in Follansbee. She was an avid card player, loved to play scrabble and write poetry. She was a member of the SeventhDayAdventistChurch. She resided in Toronto with her granddaughter Shawn Wilson and at the Carriage Inn of Steubenville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 1st. husbandDonald Rawson in 1977,a daughter Esther (Adrian) Burnworth, sons Donald Rawson Jr. in 1974, George Rawson in 2005, and her sister Irene (Joe) Rocchio.Also preceding her were her 2nd. husband Maxwell Sandgren and step-son Allen Sandgren. Surviving are her daughter Dorothy (Alfred) Brown of Fresno,CA., and son Stanley (Sandy) Rawson of Wintersville, Ohio.Her sister Erma Bauer, brothers Stanley Barnes and Ernie Barnes of Fresno, CA.Five Stepchildren, Maxine Reidy, Janet Cole, Judy Faladreau, Sylvia Sandgren and Ron Sandgren.She was loving grandmother to 28 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Friends and family may call on Tuesday at the J.E. Foster Funeral Homes, Inc. 701 Findley St.Toronto, from 2-4 pm. and from 6 pm. up til time of her Funeral Service at 7:30 pm.Pastor Joseph Silone will officiate her service. Family and friends are invited to attend her committal service on Wednesday morning at 10:00 am. at IslandCreekCemetery near Toronto.
