Loretta Jean Brem 69 of Toronto, Ohio passed away Tuesday June 14, 2005 in the Valley Hospice Palliative Care Unit in Steubenville. She was born on Feb.9,1936 in Toronto, daughter of the late John F.and Jean Anne Brown Brem. Loretta worked at the former Hub Dept. store in Steubenville and retired after 25 years of service from the Jefferson Behavioral Health System in Steubenville. Loretta was a member St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Toronto; where she was very active in the following areas of the church, the C.W.C. where she is a past president, the Rosary Society, she was a Lecture in the church, was a teacher's aid for C.C.D., and a Blessed Sacrament Adorer Captain. In addition to her parents, Loretta was preceded in death by an Infant sister. Surviving are; her sister Mary Ellen ( Bob ) Rawson of Toronto, her nieces; Julie Rawson of Ashland, Ohio and Mary Lynn ( Steve ) Lewis of Toronto. Her great-niece; Morgan Lewis and her great-nephew; Shane Lewis both of Toronto. Also many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Friends and family may call on Friday from 2-4 pm. at the J. E. Foster Funeral Home, Inc. 701 Findley St. Toronto and from 7-9 pm. at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church on N. River Ave. in Toronto. On Saturday Visitation will be available for Loretta from 9:00 am.up til time of her Funeral Liturgy with mass at 10:00 am. at the church. Msgr.
