Loretta J. Day, 85, of Toronto, OH, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023, in the Gables Care Center in Hopedale, OH.

Loretta was born July 5, 1937, in Bellaire, OH, daughter of the late J. Edgar and Leota (Corbett) Wise.

She was a homemaker who loved to sew and make quilts for her family and was a member of the Bell Chapel United Methodist Church in Pleasant Hill.

In addition to her parents, Loretta was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas W. Day, daughter, Dawn Satkowski, and brothers, Robert and Thomas Wise.

Loretta leaves behind her daughter, Nancy (Bill) Scott and son-in-law, John Satkowski both of Toronto; bonus daughter, Cathy Reighard of Richmond, OH; grandchildren, Brandon (Jessica) Scott of Toronto, Deanna Scott of Pittsburgh, PA, Devon (Trevor) Cooper of Steubenville, and Bryce Satkowski of Columbus, OH; great-granddaughter, Keegan Scott, and great-grandson, Rowan Scott.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, March 21 at 12 noon at the Bell Chapel UMC. Lorettas family will greet friends from 11 am to noon. Rev. Bill Hibbs will officiate, and a luncheon will follow.
