Loretta A.(Metz)Farnsworth 76 of Piney Fork, Ohio formerly of Indian Village Apts. In Mingo Jct. passed away at Home on Wednesday Dec. 1, 2004. She was born June 16, 1928 in Masontown, W.Va., daughter of the late William and SylviaRankin Metz. She was a member of the Smithfield Friends Church. Was a devoted wife of the late Leroy Farnsworth, as well as a devoted Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. She loved to make hand sown quilts for family and friends. In addition to her parents and her Husband, Loretta was preceded in death by; a Son William, three Brothers; George, Richard, and Robert Metz; and a Sister; Martha Thompson. Surviving are; Three Sons; David Farnsworth of Steubenville, Ernest Fransworth of Bemus Point, New York, and Allen Farnsworth of Rayland. Two Daughters; Georgianna Striffler of Petersburg, Ohio and Arnetta ( Wayne ) Kurtz of Piney Fork with whom Loretta resided. A Brother; John Metz of Weirton and a Sister; Betty ( James ) Henderson of Toronto. 13 Grandchildren and 18 Great-Grandchildren. An 11:00 am. Graveside Service will be held on Monday Dec. 6, 2004 at Sugar Grove Cemetery near Empire, Ohio. Rev. Michael Browning will officiate. J.E.
